Arrive at Kigali International Airport, meet your driver-guide, and transfer to Volcanoes National Park (approx. 2.5–3 hours). Enjoy scenic countryside views en route, then check in to your lodge and relax with lunch. In the afternoon, visit Musanze Caves or the Twin Lakes, then return for dinner and overnight near the park.

After breakfast, transfer to Kinigi for a gorilla trekking briefing, where you’ll be assigned a gorilla family and guided on safety rules. Begin your trek through the bamboo forests and slopes of Volcanoes National Park, with chances to spot wildlife along the way. Spend a magical hour with the mountain gorillas before returning to the lodge for lunch, relaxation, and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, transfer to Kinigi for briefing and head out for your second gorilla trek with a different family group in Volcanoes National Park. Trek through bamboo forest and volcanic slopes with your guides until you locate the gorillas and spend one unforgettable hour observing their behavior. Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay after this deeper second encounter.
