Hiking & Trekking
Upon arrival in Kigali, meet your driver-guide and transfer to Volcanoes National Park in Musanze (approx. 2.5–3 hours). Enjoy scenic views of Rwanda’s rolling hills, villages, and the Virunga Volcanoes en route. Arrive in Musanze, check in to your lodge, relax, and overnight in preparation for gorilla trekking.

Early breakfast at your lodge, then transfer to Kinigi for a gorilla trekking briefing. Trek through Volcanoes National Park to meet mountain gorillas and spend one unforgettable hour with them. Return for lunch, optional Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village visit, and overnight at your lodge in Musanze.

Early breakfast, then transfer to Kinigi for briefing before the Dian Fossey hike. Trek through Volcanoes National Park to Karisoke Research Center and visit Dian Fossey’s grave. Descend, return to lodge, check out, and drive back to Kigali for hotel drop-off or airport transfer.
